Long term contract
£120 to £140 per day

A large Primary school based in Merton is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Year 5 teacher for a 6 month maternity cover commencing in January 2011.

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, innovative and creative class teacher to join this young and exciting Key Stage 1 team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled teacher who wants to join a school with enthusiastic learners.

The school have a continuing programme of improvement to keep the premises attractive, safe and comfortable to all school users. The public areas are full of bright photographs and imaginative examples of children's work. The classrooms are large and bright, and fully equipped with computers, overhead projectors and whiteboards.

The school are seeking an individual who:
Has excellent interpersonal skills and are committed to working as part of a team
Has strong subject knowledge and show passion and commitment for teaching across the school curriculum
Has strong classroom/subject management and organisational skills
Has experience of teaching in a range of primary year groups, especially Key Stage 2.

Our client is a highly prestigious Training Provider organisation who support and advise business organisations across key areas of the East Midlands region. The organisation is growing very rapidly, and as well as their head office in Chesterfield, they have offices in Derby & Nottingham, along with numerous Training Centres within the region.
This organisation delivers Training contracts for the YPLA, The Skills Funding Agency (SFA) and The Department for Work and pensions for learners of all ages.

- This is a permanent post mainly based in our clients Nottingham city training centre. The post holder will be serving Nottinghamshire unemployed adults and re-engaging them back into the working world.

- The key areas of responsibility are engaging with adults, from the age of 25, who are looking to re-enter the working world and helping them to deal with the barriers they face.

- This post holder will be expected to engage with companies to create work experience opportunities for the learners.

- This post holder will also be expected to work to targets in getting people into secure sustainable jobs.

- Ideally applicants will possess:-

• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Enthusiastic qualities that motivate and engage adults into finding work.
• An ability to engage with local companies, looking for support offering work experience.
• Attention to detail when completing official documentation
• Good ICT Skills.
• An understanding of the Flexible New Deal (fND) programme.
• A clean driving licence and car is essential.

My client a training provider in the Hampshire region has been awarded Grade 2 across board from ALI, and therefore, listed on the ALI Excellent Provider list in December 2006, is this the type of organisation you would like to work for?

On their behalf we are currently recruiting a number of positions: we are looking for a STL (Supporting Teaching and Learning) Assessor to deliver to NVQ L2 & 3 apprentices – full framework including Key Skills (soon to be Functional Skills) and Technical Certificate.

You will be based in Southampton but regularly visit the learners’ place of work, where you will assess, monitor and review, as well as supporting learners throughout their NVQ. You will be expected to liaise with the IV and maintain quality in line with the client’s policies and procedures as well as attending team, verification and standardization meetings.

The successful candidate will hold A1 and it is desirable that you hold PTLLS.

Salary: £19-21k + bonus paid on completions.

Hours: 37.5 but would consider part time for the right person / my client would also be interested in receiving applications from temporary assessors (perhaps with a view to going perm).

It is essential that you are a car driver.

CRB required - but if you do not have one and are appointed the client will take one up
