Engage Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Geography teacher for an outstanding school based over in Hertfordshire. The position is to start immediately and is a full time, long term role.

Ofsted in their last inspection in 2009 gave this school a grade 1; Outstanding in every part of the report. And it isn't hard to see why. The exam results year by year improve and facilities are excellent. Attendance is well above the national average and although the students have personalities, they are friendly and respectful of each other and their teachers. The school has been described by parents as a "happy and warm environment" and that is has "the whole well being of the child as a priority." The school has a specialist Science status and is set in well kept grounds in a very nice part of Hertfordshire. Management take an active interest in their staff and push them in the right direction to succeed in their roles and any concerns that staff may have are dealt with quickly so that the positive nature of the school can continue. Behavioural issues are extremely rare and this is due to a clear and defined policy that is taught from the beginning of school. Overall, this school looks after its staff and pupils and staff retention is one of the highest in the country.

For this Geography role and for this school, Engage Education require an outstanding teacher to be able to hit the ground running.
