Employment Adviser Vacancy
£21,000 to £24,000 pa
South Yorkshire, Doncaster

Our client was the first private organisation to deliver the Government’s flagship "New Deal" programme in 1998 and since then has assisted over 100,000 people back into work. Due to expansion they are currently looking to recruit Personal Advisers for their Doncaster location.

Personal Advisers work with participants on a one-to-one basis to increase their skills and to find them employment, by providing them with a range of opportunities through strong relationships with Account Managers, local partners, employment and support agencies. You will need to find innovative ways to overcome the barriers to work faced by your participants, as well as actively marketing the programmes run for members of the community who may benefit from their services. In addition you will provide post-employment support to participants to help them to adapt successfully to the work environment.

All Personal Advisers receive:

• A competitive salary from £21,000 and development opportunities

• Support towards a recognised Advice and Guidance qualification

To succeed in this role it is essential that you have:
6 months experience of working in a fast-paced and targeted sales environment
6 months experience of working in a customer facing environment such as retail or customer services
A clear commitment to working in the Welfare to Work sector (previous experience of working in Welfare to Work is NOT required).
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade A to C) or equivalent.
